The purpose of the National Talent Search Scheme is to identify talented students to nurture them. This year the NCERT issued NTS Examination 2019 in the month August for students studying in Class X. The National Talent Search Examination was conducted on 5th November 2019 in Telangana State.
The NCERT, Educational Survey Division NTSS Cell has announced the Provisional list of selected candidates for NTSE 2019. These provisionally selected candidates lists have been sent to district educational offices. The selection lists are provisional as certificates of candidates with regard to different reservation categories were verified.

Results of the NTSE 2019 Stage I examination was announced by the respective State Governments or Union Territories. The students, who were qualified Stage I, the eligible students will appear Stage II examination, which would be conducted by NCERT on May 10th, 2019 in all State and Union Territories. Results of Stage II has been announced by the NCERT.
Telangana State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) is going to announce the result of NTSE Level 1 examination. The NTSE (2019-2020) Stage I examination was held on November 3, 2019. These shortlisted candidates are eligible to appear in NTSE LEVEL II EXAM 2020. The NTSE LEVEL-II EXAM 2020 will be held on May 10. The admit card of the recommended candidates for appearing in Level 2 examinations can be downloaded from the NCERT website in the month of April.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a National-Level Scholarship Program at the Secondary School level to identify and recognise students with high intellect and academic talent. NTSE is conducted every year at Two levels – Stage-I (State Level), conducted by the States/Union Territories and Stage-II (National Level), conducted by NCERT.
The objective of the two-tier examination is to identify the talented students who have a special aptitude for Sciences, Mathematics, Social Sciences and questions based on Analytical Reasoning.
