APRS Minority School Admission 2025 or APRS Minority School 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th class admission 2025 notification has been released by the Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutes Society on its official website, https://aprs.apcfss.in/.
APREIS is inviting online applications from the eligible and interested students to fill the vacancy seats in AP Minority Gurukul Schools. Students can apply for 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th class in AP Minority Residential Schools.
In Andhra Pradesh (AP), the Minority School Admission program plays a significant role in ensuring equal educational opportunities for minority communities.
What is AP Minority School Admission?
AP Minority School Admission is a government initiative that aims to provide quality education to students belonging to minority communities, including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, and Parsis.
The program ensures that deserving students from these communities have access to excellent educational institutions and can pursue their academic goals.
APRS Entrance Test will be conducted for this year and admissions would be done on the merit basis for SC, ST Candidates only. For minority students, no need to appear the entrance test for these admission.
APREI Society has decided to fill up the backlog vacancies in classes VI to VIII for the academic year 2025-2025 in all backlog vacancies in AP Residential Schools including Minority Residential Schools through district level admission committee.

District Convenor should collect all the vacancies from General schools and SC/ST vacancies from Minority Schools of the district and issue frequent news items in local news papers inviting applications duly informing the date and venue of admission test.
The applications will be available on https://aprs.apcfss.in/ and https://apreis.apcfss.in/ as per the schedule. Merit lists and selection lists as per vacancies will be prepared by the Society office.
Eligibility Criteria
- For 5th Class: Candidate must have studied Class 4 for the whole of the academic session 2022-23 in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools.
- For 6th Class: Candidate must have studied Class V for the whole of the academic session 2022-23 in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools.
- For 7th Class: Candidate must have studied Class VI for the whole of the academic session 2022-23 in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools.
- For 8th Class: Candidate must have studied Class VII for the whole of the academic session 2022-23 in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools.
- Above said students must have studied continuously for at least 2 years in a Government/ Government aided or other recognized schools.
- Study in Rural area: The Student must have studied in Rural area (in case of OC/BC) for the vacancies in General Schools. For SC/ST this is not applicable. In case of vacancies in Minority Schools, Rural Area study shall not apply to all categories.
- Nativity: Students must have studied in the concerned District during 2022-23.
- Selection mode: Selection Based on the lottery system and rule of reservation.
- Income: Parental Income should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/-
- Age limit: Students should have required age limit as per their class age
Selection of candidates:
- If the No. of applications are less than the available vacancies, then all the candidates may be provided admission.
- If No. of candidates are out numbered the vacancies, then the list is to be sent to the O/o the Secretary, APREI Society for selection of candidates for admission through a committee.
- Principals should verify the certificates pertaining to Date of birth, study certificate, community certificate, income certificate of the candidates before giving admission to the candidates in class V/VI/VII and VIII and satisfy themselves that the candidates full fills the required eligibility criteria.
