These worksheets designed for learning and practicing digital lessons starting September 1 in the state.

Popularity for SCERT Telangana Worksheets:- All public and private school students and teachers of classes 2-10 can download this workbook through the official website of Telangana SCERT (https://scert.telangana.gov.in).

Worksheets (వర్క్‌షీట్‌లు) were designed to allow all subjects to practice in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English. Class wise Worksheets, Subject wise Worksheets, Medium wise Worksheets and Level wise worksheets have been prepared by SCERT.

The popularity of “School Education Worksheets” is growing in the Telangana state. Digital classes for students will continue from the 1st of September month through Doordarshan Yadagiri (DDK) and T SAT.

Students are interested in downloading worksheets for their practice after classes. Every day, 14 lakh govt school students watch digital classes. More than 80 percent of these students have downloaded worksheets from the website.

Level 2 Work Sheets: Telangana SCERT has developed worksheets for four weeks, Level – 1 remedial worksheets for two weeks, Level – 2 current year syllabus worksheets for two weeks for all classes and subjects and uploaded on SCERT Telangana website for use by the students under the guidance of teachers online and parents at home.

At present for current year syllabus 2020‐21 worksheets for further chapters were developed and uploaded on SCERT website. These worksheets may be utilized for two or three days depending on the level / standard of the students in case of Mathematics, Sciences etc.

Education Department has released a few more worksheets. TS SCERT has released Level 2 worksheets and these were designed to facilitate learning and practicing digital lessons.

All Government and private school students and subject and Class teachers of classes 2-10 can download these work sheets or workbook through the official website of Telangana SCERT.

The SCERT Director said that the worksheet was designed to practice all the subjects in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu and English. worksheets are available from 2nd grade to 10th grade.

Education Minister Message on SCERT Telangana Workbooks: The State of Telangana, along with the other states in India is struggling through the unprecedented worldwide Covid-19 crisis.

Its impact on the regular educational system forced us to develop worksheets in two levels from classes II to X where students will be benefited within the safety of staying in homes.

Minister hoped that the teachers will transact these worksheets and use various social networking platforms to help students continue the studies so that their precious time is well utilized and their education continues undisturbed. Minister also congratulated to SCERT, Telangana, for their efforts in developing these Worksheets.

Use of Worksheets: The Department of Education, Telangana, in its efforts to ensure the continuation of education among the students of Telangana during the present COVID-19 conditions, has prepared worksheets for students.

These worksheets will supplement the efforts of school heads and teachers who are providing support to the students through remote teaching learning activities.

This initiative is taken up to help students in bridging with the preceding class, ensure academic connect and pave way for smooth transition to next higher classes.

These worksheets related to the syllabus and content suggested for their respective classes are duly mapped to the Learning Outcomes and uploaded in the website of SCERT for the purpose of practice for the students and assessment of progress by the teachers.

The worksheets are made for a four week period. The first two weeks of the worksheets, Level-I, suggests the revision of the previous class academic activities and from there the smooth transition to the current academic year syllabus to be transacted in the following two weeks in Level-II.

QR codes in the non-languages text books of classes VIII and IX are provided in the 2020-21 edition of textbooks for the benefit of the learners and teachers.

In this academic year, online links to useful sites, materials and textbooks are proposed to be provided for the classes VI, VII and X also. Special Chief Secretary of Education Department hoped that the students and teachers of Telangana will find the worksheets useful and implement the same.

TLM as well as Assessment Tools: State Council of Educational Research and Training, Telangana, has prepared extensive worksheets for classes II to X as support material for the teachers transacting various activities to enable the students to keep in touch with learning process while staying safe at home in the prevailing conditions due to COVID-19.

These worksheets are compiled in order to reach out to maximum number of students in both urban as well as rural areas. A good amount of research on the academic needs and the availability of resources across the state went into the preparation of these worksheets.

The worksheets provided may be utilized both as teaching learning material as well as assessment tools. They may be worked out by students under the guidance of teachers and make their precious time academically productive.

DSE has appreciated the efforts put forth by SCERT in coordinating DIETs and DEOs of various districts in designing the worksheets keeping the varied needs of students across the state in view and hope that the School Heads and Teachers will use all available platforms to ensure the transaction of these worksheets to the benefit of students.

Preceding Class & New Class Worksheets: Worksheets for 2020-21. In order to keep children engaged and ensure academic connect, SCERT developed worksheets for all classes and subjects to be uploaded on SCERT website for use by the students under the guidance of teachers online and parents at home.

Worksheets have been developed for two levels: Level 1 – Based on the Learning Outcomes of preceding Class. The first two weeks of Worksheets shall cover the concepts of lower classes, to bridge the gap of previous class and to facilitate smooth transition to the content of next higher class.

Level 2 – Worksheets are based on the Learning Outcomes of the new class. They shall be made available from third / fourth week. The general design of the worksheets of Level 2 cover class-wise, subject-wise content mapped to the Learning Outcomes and competencies to be attained by the students.

The textbooks are distributed by the Department to all the children and SCERT has uploaded textbooks of all classes and subjects on its website for easy access by the students and teachers. Worksheets have been developed for 4 weeks which can be used up to 6 weeks depending on the learning levels of the children.
