National Talent Search Examination 2020 notification has been given by the National Council of Educational Research and Training. The National Talent Search Examination for students studying in Class X is meant to identify and nurture talent. The examination is conducted every year at two levels: Stage-I (State Level) and Stage-II (National Level).
NTS Stage-II Examination Provisional Result 2020: All the candidates who have appeared in National Talent Search Examination held on May 10 at different centres that in order to facilitate the candidates to verify their scores obtained by them, the scanned images of OMR response sheets (MAT, Language Test and SAT) and Final scoring keys for all these papers is being provided. To access you need to enter your roll number and date of birth in (DD/MM/YYYY) format. In case you find any inconsistency in the scores obtained, then you are advised to report the same to the division only through email at ntsexam.ncert@gov.in by 24th August 2020 till 5:30 p.m. You may also note that no request in this regard will be considered after stipulated date and time. No other queries related to the examination will be entertained at this stage. The final results will be displayed after reviewing the discrepancies if any. NCERT Stage II NTSE Results: The National Talent Search Stage-II Examination was conducted on May 10th 2020 (Sunday). The Provisional result was uploaded on the NCERT website and candidates were provided access to their OMR Sheets in MAT and SAT to calculate their scores. Based on the feedback received from the candidates and recommendation from the freezing committee the answer key of Test Item 22 (MAT) has been changed from option (1) to option (2) for preparing the final results.

How to Check the NCERT Stage II NTSE Results:
The National Council of Education Research & Training (NCERT) has declared the NTSE Stage 2 Result on its official website, ncert.nic.in. The NTSE Stage 2 Result has been announced in the form of merit list for different category of students. NTSE Stage 2 exam was conducted by NCERT on June 16.
Steps to check NTSE Stage 2 Result 2020:
- Visit the official website of NCERT, ncert.nic.in.
- From the left-hand sidebar, click on ‘National Talent Search Exam [NTSE]’
- A new page will open. Now click on ‘other details’ from the right-hand side of the screen.
- Scroll down and click on the NTSE 2020 Stage 2 result link.
- A PDF will open on the screen containing the link to the login window.
- Now enter your roll number, date of birth, and security code. Then, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- The NTSE Stage 2 result will appear on the screen. Download it and take a print out for further reference.

NTSE scholarships: At higher secondary level candidates shall receive a scholarship of Rs. 1250 per month. For graduate and postgraduate students, the scholarship amount is Rs. 2000 per month. The remuneration for PhD students, who are selected for this scholarship, would be as per the UGC norms.
Meanwhile, NCERT has announced the exam dates for NTSE 2020. While the state level exams will be held in November, the national level exam will be held on May 10, 2020.
