The National Talent Search Examination (First level examination) will be conducted on 05-11-2017 from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM in all District Head Quarters in the State. All the regular students who are studying Class X during Academic year 2017 in all recognized schools including Central Government schools are eligible to write the test.
This year as per the Govt.Memo.27651/Exams/ 15, dt.1.8.2015 the NTSE/ NMMSApplication forms will be received through online mode. The due dates for submission of applications online and remittance of the fee are given in the notification.
The printed application along with relevant documents (in case of SC, ST, and PH) submitted by the candidates should be verified and certified by you and approve the same through the link provided by this office. The District Educational Officers’ instructions, due dates, and user guidelines may also be downloaded from the website i.e., www.bseap.org,
The N.C.E.R.T, New Delhi has changed the examination pattern from this year onwards. Language Comprehensive Test (Telugu/Urdu/English) for 50 marks (Only for qualifying), Mental Ability test for 50 and Scholastic test is for 100 marks. The distribution of marks and questions are as follows. The time limit was not changed.
NTSE Test Type:
A. Mental Ability – Marks: 50; No. of Questions: 50
B. Scholastic Test
Language Comprehensive Test- Marks:50; No. of Questions: 50
Aptitude Test – Marks: 100; No. of Questions: 100
NTSE Exam Fee:
The Examination fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) should be remitted by the candidate at nearby SBI treasury bank through challan which was automatically generated after submission of application through online by the candidate.
Instructions on AP NTSE Online Application Form 2020:
1) DEO should verifythe printed application form whether the candidate attached the required Documents i.e., Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST), PH certificate if necessary and challan.
2) Verify the H.M declaration along with school stamp on printed application form.
3) Verify whether the school is having recognition or not.
4) Application should be segregated with generated application numbers only for future reference.
Further, I request you to inform all the Heads of recognized Institutions under your jurisdiction (including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and schools affiliated to l.C.S.E. & C.B.S.E., New Delhi) about the examination. Students who are presently studying in X class i.e., during the academic year 2015-16 in any recognized school are eligible to appear for the N.T.S. Examination.
I request you to inform all the recognized schools in your District and give wide publicity regarding the Examination by issuing Press Note in all leading daily News Papers and Electronic Media and also inform the Headmasters, students studying X class through print and electronic media to submit an application through online from the website “www.bseap.org”.
Candidate should enclose a copy of his/her caste/Disability certificates in case of SC/ ST/ PH candidates duly attested by any Gazetted officer to avail the reservation facility, otherwise the candidate may be treated as General category. The candidates who are the beneficiaries of NMMSscholarships and who are studying X class during Academic year 2015-16 may also appear for NTSE-Nov2015, but such candidates have to forego the further NMMS scholarships invariably, if he/she selected in NTS Examination.
Further, I request you to constitute the required number of examination centers (Annexure-1) at the District Headquarters based on the number of candidates appearing for the examination in the district. Names of the Chief Superintendents and Departmental Officers appointed for the examination centers shall be informed to this office.
