The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced the NEET PG exam date 2023 i.e., National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG exam date on its website, nbe.edu.in. The candidates who are preparing for NEET PG examination can visit the official website of NBE: natboard.edu.in to check the examination schedule.
As per the notification released by NBE, NEET PG examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 21, 2023. The NEET PG examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. Candidates can obtain the examination schedule from the official website by clicking on the link which reads “Date of exam for NEET PG”
NEET is held for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) courses offered in government, private, deemed and central universities. NEET PG exam pattern includes a total of 300 objective type questions for which each candidate will be allotted three hours and 30 minutes. NEET PG will be the single qualifying cum ranking exam for admission to Postgraduate MD/MS/Diploma Courses for the academic session 2023. Eligibility criteria: Only those candidates can apply who have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised college. He/ She should possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidate should also have completed one year of internship or are expected to complete the internship.

The examination shall be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT). The exam comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted is 3hr. 30 min. The weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same.
Negative marking: There shall be no negative marking.
