NEET PG 2020 exam date announced: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has announced the exam date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2020 examination. The candidates who are preparing for NEET PG 2020 examination can visit the official website of NBE: natboard.edu.in – to check the examination schedule.
As per the notification released by NBE, NEET-PG 2020 examination is scheduled to be conducted on January 5, 2020. The NEET PG examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.
NBE has also released the exam date for NEET-MDS 2020, FMGE December 2019 and PDCET January 2020 admission session. NBE will conduct the NEET MDS 2020 examination on December 20, 2019. FMGE examination and PDCET January 2020 admission session will also be held on December 20, 2019.
NBA will release information bulletin and online registration schedule online in due course. The official notification reads “Further details like Information Bulletin and schedule of online registration for the aforementioned examinations shall be available on NBE website https://nbe.edu.in/ in due course.” Candidates can obtain the examination schedule from the official website by clicking on the link which reads “Date of exam for FMGE December 2019, PDCET January 2020 admission session, NEET MDS 2020 & NEET PG 2020”
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be conducting NEET-PG 2020 on January 5. As per the official notification, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG will be conducted in the computer based mode. The application form is expected to release in the first week of November the NEET PG admit card 2020 will be out in the last week of December 2019.
NEET is held for admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) courses offered in government, private, deemed and central universities. In 2016, NEET was made mandatory for admission in the medical colleges in India in the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Along with NEET, NBE has announced the dates of other exams. NEET PG 2020 exam pattern includes a total of 300 objective type questions for which each candidate will be allotted three hours and 30 minutes. Applicants will be able to access the demo test in the second week of December 2019. Around 1,48,000 candidates participated in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 was held on Sunday for admissions to post-graduate medical courses in colleges across the country. The test was conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE), across 165 cities.
How to Apply for
NEET PG Entrance Test 2020
National Board of Education, NBE will close the registration process of NEET PG 2020 on November 21, 2019. Candidates who want to apply for Postgraduate courses can visit the official site of NBE at nbe.edu.in and apply online. The registration process was started on November 1, 2019. The examination will be conducted on January 5, 2020, and the result is expected to be declared by January 31, 2020. Candidates who want to apply for the examination can apply by visiting official website for NEET PG 2020.

- A new page will open where candidates can click on new registration and enter the login credentials.
- Now fill in the details that are required in the application form.
- Make the payment of fees and click on submit.
- Your application form is submitted.
- Candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the confirmation page for further need.
All those candidates who will appear for the examination will have to pay Rs 3750/- as examination fees for general and OBC candidates and Rs 2750 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. NBE will also conduct a demo test from December 20, 2019, onwards on the official site of NBE. Demo test will help candidates to be familiar with the Computer Based Test format.

Education: Only those candidates can apply who have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognised college. He/ She should possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
Candidate should also have completed one year of internship or are expected to complete the internship.
SCOPE OF NEET PG 2020:
NEET-PG 2019 shall be a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to Postgraduate Medical Courses’ for the academic session which will include the following:
All India 50% quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses (all states except Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana)
State quota seats for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses for all States/Union territories of India (including the states of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana)
MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country
MD/MS/PG Diploma courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will comprise of 300 multiple choice questions from the MBBS curriculum followed at medical colleges in India. The examination shall be a multiple choice questions exam delivered on computer based platform (CBT).
The exam comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. Time allotted is 3hr. 30 min.
The weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same.
Negative marking: There shall be no negative marking.
