TG Inter Academic Calendar 2026 Released for 2 year Intermediate Education in Telangana State. The Telangana Inter Board has released the academic calendar of junior colleges.
Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) released the annual academic calendar for all junior intermediate colleges in for the current academic year 2026. Accordingly, the theory examinations, practical exams would be conducted as per the announced schedule.
The TGBIE officials pointed out that all-out efforts will be made to cover 100 percent of the syllabus for the academic year 2026.
The Dasara holidays, Sankranti festival holidays and the summer vacation for the junior colleges in this academic year (2026) provided in the given schedule.
The advanced supplementary examinations 2026 will be held in the last week of May and date of re-opening of junior colleges for 2025-26 will be June 1.
Secretary, TGBIE said that all the managements of private junior colleges must ensure that they implement the academic calendar and in case any kind of deviation is noticed, then stringent action will be initiated against the managements.
- Total number of working days : 227 days.
- Total number of holidays: 75 days.
- Dasara Holidays: 8 days for Dasara Festival.
- Sankranthi Holidays: 6 days for Sankranthi Festival.
- Inter examinations: from March 1st week, 2026.
- Last Working Day is March 29, 2026.
Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) has scheduled Intermediate Public Examinations (theory) in March and practical examinations will be held in February. The advanced supplementary exams are planned in the last week of May.

- Visit the website: For downloading the Academic Calendar, intermediate students need to visit the official website https://TGBIE.cgg.gov.in/ in your device browser.
- Click on TGBIE Website: Once you reach the official website, click on the TGBIE Website on the home page. Then, Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education official web portal will appear.
- Click on the Academic Calendar Link: On the TS BIE website, click on the Academic Calendar Link at the left side bar. Then, a new web page will be appeared.
- Download the Academic Calendar: After clicking on the link, Academic Calendar downloading web page will be opened.
- Now download the Telangana Inter Academic Calendar by click on the relevant link. PDF will open in your device, you can download it and check details.
The private un-aided junior colleges have been instructed to make admissions only in accordance with the admission schedule announced by the BIE.
No college should employ marketing strategies like appointing public relation officers or any such personnel for canvassing for admissions, it said, adding that no advertisement should be carried through hoarding, pamphlets, wall writing, electronic and print media.
The BIE warned private un-aided junior colleges that strict action including dis-affiliation will be taken against the colleges if any deviation is noticed.
Instructions
All the Principals/Managements are requested to follow the instructions furnished hereunder: All the Managements of private un-aided Jr. Colleges are informed that according to Annual Calendar of 2021-22 the Jr. Colleges are deemed to be closed for summer vacation as per the above said schedule.
In addition to the vacation, all Sundays & public holidays declared by the Government of Telangana should strictly observed as holidays.
Any deviation will be viewed seriously. Admissions should be made only in accordance with the admission schedule announced by Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education.

All the principals of un-aided Junior Colleges are instructed not to resort to issue of advertisements with inducements amounting to violation of Rule 7 of Andhra Pradesh public Examinations (Prevention of Malpractice & Unfair means) Rules 1997 issued in G.O.Ms.No.114, dated 13.05.1997. Any violation noticed will be dealt under Law.
All the private college managements are hereby informed that if they do not send the qualified lecturers for spot valuation camps, stringent steps / disciplinary action would be taken against them.
All the Managements of private un-aided Jr. Colleges are hereby informed that, if any deviation is noticed, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education will take action including dis-affiliation of the college against the managements
