JEE Main Exam dates Allotment and shifts details released. NTA to release Allotment of Exam Dates & Shift details @ jeemain.nic.in. National Testing Agency, NTA would be releasing the allotment of exam dates and shift for JEE Mains 2020. The candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2020 January Examination would be able to login to their accounts on the official website jeemain.nic.in to check the exam date and city allotted to them.

The information regarding the exam city allotted to candidates would be released only on the website. As per the notification released on the official website, the exam date and shift allotted would be released. JEE Main 2020 city allotment details would be released and admit cards would be released in December.

JEE Main 2020 January Registrations: September 2 to October 10

JEE Main II April Exam dates:
JEE Main II Admit Card for April exam will be available from March 20

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 202020 II April Examination dates. As per the notification released on the official website of the exam – jeemain.nic.in – the examination for JEE Main 2020 II will be conducted between April 5 to 11

JEE Main Exam dates Allotment

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the allotment of exam dates and shift for JEE Mains 2020. The candidates who will appear for the JEE Main examination can check the details through the official website, nta.ac.in. The first phase examination will be conducted as per the schedule and the admit card is available to download from the web portal. Moreover, if a student appears for the JEE (Main) and NEET twice, the best of his/ her two scores will be taken into account.

Clearing the JEE mains and advanced papers will make candidates eligible for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.

How to check the JEE Mains Allotment of Exam Dates & Shift details:

Step 2. Enter your registration number, password and other details to login
Steps 3. The details related to the exam date and shifts allotted to you will be displayed on the screen
Steps 4. Save or take a print out of the details for future reference

The NTA will organize the JEE Main Exam twice in a year:
JEE (Main) and NEET twice, the best of his/ her two scores will be taken into account. JEE Main I in January 2020 and JEE Main II in April 2020. 

Qualifying JEE Main will open the gateways to NITs, IITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs across the country for Undergraduate programmes like Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch). Candidates must note that it is optional for candidates to appear for JEE Main I and /or JEE Main II, as if a candidate chooses to appear for both the exams then the best score will be considered during the admission process.

JEE Main Exam Eligibility criteria
A score of at least 75 per cent in Class 12 board exams or a place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required to be eligible for JEE main or advanced. For candidates of the SC and ST categories, this has been lowered to 65 per cent.
