National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to make corrections in application form of JEE Main exam. Earlier, the deadline wad July 15 which has been extended till July 20. Applicants can make corrections in particulars, choice of centre cities, photographs and signature in their application forms.
“Some of the candidates have uploaded Photograph/ Signature which are illegible or have uploaded Photographs with Mask; such candidates are advised to upload clear photograph/signature of desired specification (as detailed in Annexure – A) to avoid cancellation of their candidature,” NTA notice reads.

NTA had closed the JEE Main 2020 April application process and candidates who had successfully registered for the same can now make corrections to their submitted online application forms. Candidates must log in to the below-mentioned URL and cross-check the details submitted by them to correct mistakes (if any) on or before 20-07-2020.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has re-opened the application correction windows for JEE Main 2020. Candidates seeking to make corrections in their JEE Main application forms can visit the official portals – jeemain.nta.nic.in respectively on or before 20-07-2020. A notice regarding this decision has been uploaded on the JEE Mains and NEET UG official website.
In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, the agency had already postponed the JEE Mains entrance examination. The JEE Main 2020 exam will be held between September 1 and 6, at various centres spread across the country.

“It is brought to the notice of all the candidates of JEE (Main) -2020 that the facility for correction in the particulars in the Online Application Form is once again made operational on the website jeemain.nta.nic in from 04/07/2020 to 20/07/2020*. The candidates are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars and make necessary corrections wherever required,” read the official notification.
“All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective application form wherever incorrect or incomplete,” mentioned the official notification.
The candidates need to apply for the correction process by paying the additional application fees. “The candidates are allowed to make the corrections, (if any), latest by 20-07-2020. Thereafter, no correction in particulars, whatsoever, will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances. The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate concerned either through credit/ debit card/ net banking/ UPI and PAYTM generated during the online correction from 4 to 20-07-2020 (11:50 p.m.),” read the official notification.
A score of at least 75 percent in class 12 board exams or a place among the top 20 percentile of the boards is required to be eligible for JEE Main. For candidates of the SC and ST categories, this has been lowered to 65 per cent

- Candidates can log in into their accounts by using their application number to modify the already filled application details
- Details like exam centres and change in photographs can be made through the JEE Main correction window.
- However, NTA restricts modifying details regarding castes, gender and date of birth.
- The candidates who are making the changes can pay the application changes fee through UPI, PayTM and other online platforms.
The JEE Main is held twice in a year in January and April and the scorecard remains valid for a period of one year.

Clearing the JEE mains and advanced papers will make candidates eligible for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) across India.
