Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET Answer key 2022 on its official website https://ctet.nic.in. CTET examination was conducted by CBSE across the country. The board has released the answer keys and OMR sheet in this week. Candidates who have appeared in the examination to download the answer key from the official website.
Once Answer key is released, candidates would get an opportunity to raise objections, if any, online on ctet.nic.in against the provisional answer keys. All the challenges would then be considered and the final answer keys would be released. CTET results would be released basis on the final answer keys. As per the official notification, CBSE would release the CTET Results in February 2nd week.
The CTET administering body, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has also allowed the aspirants to raise objections against the CTET Answer Key. To raise objections, aspirants have to pay Rs.1,000/- per question and submit their queries by the deadline (5 pm).

To access the CTET answer key, candidates have to key in their roll number and date of birth and select the eligibility test question booklet number from the drop-down menu.
CBSE has today released two kinds of CTET 2021 question papers i.e., (i) Only question paper and (ii) Question paper with marked responses for each candidate. Candidates can use the former along with the provisional answer key to understanding the right option in each question. The latter or “master copy” can be used to calculate the tentative score in the eligibility test.
Additionally, candidates can compare their CTET 2021 response sheet with the answer key to identify any inaccuracies in the provisional draft. These inaccuracies can thereafter be communicated using the objection facility provided by the board. This facility has been made available on the official website ctet.nic.in, for 2-3 days.
CTET Answer Key
As of now, there is no update regarding the release of the answer key for the CTET examination. However, since the board has released the response sheet, speculations are rife that the CTET answer key shall be released soon. Post answer key release, candidates shall be given time to rectify any mistake in the provisional answer key.
Once all the issues in the provisional answer key are resolved, the board shall release the final CTET result. CBSE has notified earlier that the result for the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) shall be released by February 15. Candidates who appear in the final merit list will stand a chance to be rewarded with the teaching certificate by the authorities that comes with a validity of a lifetime.
How to download the CTET Answer key?
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET answer key to be out on the official website, i.e., ctet.nic.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has released the response sheet and the question papers for the CTET exam. Applicants who have appeared for the examination will check their response sheets online.

How to submit objections against CTET official answer key
In case a candidate identifies an inaccuracy in the provisional draft, he/she can use the objection facility provided on the official portal. Following are the steps to raise objections
- Visit the official website of CTET 2021 i.e., ctet.nic.in
- On the homepage of the official website, click on the “Display/challenge of answer key CTET Dec-2021” tab.
- By doing so, a new page will open displaying a list of links and instructions. Select the “Click here for Display/challenge of answer key CTET Dec-2021” link.
- Enter the login credentials such as Roll Number and Date of Birth before clicking on the “Login” option.
- Enter the question number, option in the answer key and the correct option. Also, provide adequate justification and reasoning to support the claim.
- Pay the objection fee of Rs.1000 for each objection raised.
- Check and verify all the details mentioned before submitting the objection.
CTET OMR sheet: Candidates can download it when released for which they have to pay Rs.1000 per OMR sheet through Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any Nationalized Bank and payable at Delhi.
There is no cut off for CTET. In order to be TET qualified, candidates are required to achieve 60% or above. As for candidates belonging to the reserved category, the qualifying criteria is 55%. Also, CTET is valid for a period of 7 years. Candidates who have qualified CTET previously can, however, appear for the examination again to improve their scores.

- On the home page, scroll down to the end of the page
- A new window will open
- Login using either of the options of application number and date of birth or application number and password.
- Once logged in to your account, you will find the option to view the response sheet and question paper
CTET examination comprised of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I was conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm and Paper II was conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon. Candidates to get Mark sheet in Digital Locker: The CBSE had informed that the CTET mark sheet and Eligibility Certificate to be sent directly in candidates’ digital locker. These documents would be digitally signed and would be valid as per the IT Act.
The successful candidates, who had participated in Paper I, would be eligible for any test/recruitment for Classes from 1 to 5th however, the candidates who would qualify Paper II, would be eligible to teach the students of classes from 6 to 8.
CTET Qualifying Marks and Awards of CTET Certificate: The candidates, who had appeared in CTET examination, will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing minimum 90 marks out of total 150 (i.e., 60 per cent) would be issued Eligibility Certificate. This Eligibility Certificate would be valid for a period of seven years from the date of declaration of the result.
How to Get Duplicate CTET Certificate?
A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Marks Statement or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi.

CTET Score Applicability: As the name suggests, its a test conducted all over India and all govt and govt-aided schools in Union territories and KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools accept the CTET scores. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
CTET OMR Answer Sheets: The candidates who appeared in CTET may download the scanned images of OMR answer sheets and the CTET answer key from the official website, ctet.nic.in. The CTET answer key and the OMR sheets will be available.
When will the Final Answer Key be released?
Once the CTET answer keys are released and objections raised, CBSE would then go through the objections and make changes in the provisional answer key, if any. Based on the changes made, a final answer key would be prepared on the basis of which the CTET Result would be calculated and announced.
