Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE would release the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET 2019 answer keys soon on its official website. CTET 2019 December examination was conducted by CBSE on December 8, 2019 across the country. The board will release the answer keys and OMR sheet in this week. Candidates who have appeared in the examination to download the answer key from the official website
Once Answer key is released, candidates would get an opportunity to raise objections, if any, online on ctet.nic.in against the provisional answer keys. All the challenges would then be considered and the final answer keys would be released.
CTET results would be released basis on the final answer keys. As per the official notification, CBSE would release the CTET 2019 December Results in January first week.
How to download the Answer key of CTET 2019:
- Go to the official website: ctet.nic.in
- Search for “CTET Answer key” on the home page
- Click on the Answer key link
- A new web page will be displayed
- Download the Answer key of Paper I or Paper II
- Check your marks with these answer keys
CTET OMR sheet: Candidates can download it when released for which they have to pay Rs 500 per OMR sheet through Demand Draft in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any Nationalized Bank and payable at Delhi.
There is no cut off for CTET. In order to be TET qualified, candidates are required to achieve 60% or above. As for candidates belonging to the reserved category, the qualifying criteria is 55%. Also, CTET is valid for a period of 7 years. Candidates who have qualified CTET previously can, however, appear for the examination again to improve their scores.

CTET 2019 examination comprised of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I was conducted from 2 pm to 4.30 pm and Paper II was conducted from 9.30 am to 12 noon. The examination is the benchmark to acquire a Teacher job in any central government school across the country.

Candidates to get Mark sheet in Digital Locker:
The CBSE had informed that the CTET 2019 mark sheet and Eligibility Certificate to be sent directly in candidates’ digital locker. These documents would be digitally signed and would be valid as per the IT Act. The successful candidates, who had participated in Paper I, would be eligible for any test/recruitment for Classes from 1 to 5th however, the candidates who would qualify Paper II, would be eligible to teach the students of classes from 6 to 8.
CTET Qualifying Marks and Awards of CTET Certificate:
The candidates, who had appeared in CTET 2019 examination, will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing minimum 90 marks out of total 150 (i.e., 60 per cent) would be issued Eligibility Certificate. This Eligibility Certificate would be valid for a period of seven years from the date of declaration of the result.
How to Get Duplicate CTET Certificate:
A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Marks Statement or Eligibility Certificate by paying the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education drawn on any nationalized bank, payable at Delhi.

CTET Score Applicability:
As the name suggests, its a test conducted all over India and all govt and govt-aided schools in Union territories and KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools accept the CTET scores. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
