After announcement of TG POLYCET Results, Separate TG POLytechnic Agriculture Notification 2025 will be issued for TG Agriculture Polytechnic Diploma Course Admission offered by PJTSAU. SBTET will not fill up the seats for Diploma Courses of PJTSAU.
Filling up of seats, admission and counseling procedure in respect of Diploma Courses offered will be as per the norms, and the counseling for the said courses will be conducted by PJTSAU.

TG Agriculture Polytechnic Admission Selection Process
- Selection Process for Agriculture Polytechnic Admissions: Selection process through on the basis of Telangana State POLYCET Rank and following criteria should be followed for selection.
- TG POLYCET Rank: Criteria for selection: The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates under Agriculture Stream in the TG POLYCET conducted by SBTET.
- SSC GPA: If further tie, the OGPA obtained in SSC or its equivalent examination will be considered.
- Subject Grade Point: If tie continues the grade point obtained in first Science and later Maths, English, Telugu, Social and Hindi will be taken into consideration.
- Candidate Age: In case of a tie, the age of the candidates shall be taken into consideration and the older candidates shall be given preference for the seat.

Among the seats available for admission into various Diploma courses of the University, 3% are reserved for the Physically Handicapped/Challenged candidates.
The candidate seeking the benefit of the reservation should present himself/ herself before a 6 Selection Committee comprising of Residential Medical Officer, Specialists in the concerned fields of medicine and Deans of Faculty,
which shall examine the suitability of the candidates to the course based on their degree of disability which shall be based on their performance in the screening tests and the decision of the committee shall be final for the purpose of admission.
The candidates seeking admission into various Diploma courses of PJTSAU will be required to perform the activities as part of the selection process such as Identification of slides through Microscopes,
Operation of push/wheel hoes and walking on the bunds, spraying with knapsack/power sprayer, Weeding & digging, Irrigating the fields. Reservation for NCC/Sports/CAP etc. will be followed as per the rules of the Government.
- Allocation of seats in favour of Local candidates in relation to Local area: 85% of the seats are reserved for local candidates and 15% of seats are un-reserved.

Provide Phone Number: The guidelines issued by the Government of Telangana from time to time shall be followed. The University will send SMS to the applicants for the purposes related to counselling.
Hence, the candidates are informed to mention their personal mobile numbers but not the mobile numbers of relatives, friends, net/online/Xerox centers etc.
Not equal to Intermediate: The University does not guarantee any employment to the candidates. The Diploma courses offered by the University are not equal to Intermediate or any other vocational courses offered by Board of Intermediate education, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Pay the Fee immediately: The selected candidates for admission into Diploma courses of PJTSAU shall pay the prescribed fees immediately. The detailed fee structure shall be placed in the University website along with the admission notification.
Fees once paid to the University shall not be refunded (except caution deposits) under any circumstances. If a candidate cancels his/her admission, he/she must pay the prescribed cancellation fee.
Admission Counselling: Candidates called for counselling will have to attend at their own cost only. One of the Parents / Guardian of the candidate shall be allowed for counselling.
The candidate who secures a seat, should submit the certificates in Original along with the prescribed fees at the time of counselling itself. Candidates are informed that mere submission of an online application and attending for counselling does not guarantee the allotment of seat.
Polytechnic Diploma Holders should appear AGRICET and AGRIENGGCET: Only 15% of total intake (of that corresponding academic year) of B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture and B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) are reserved for the passed out Diploma holders for an entry into First year of concerned UG courses through AGRICET, [B.Sc.(Hons,) Agriculture] and AGRIENGGCET [B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering)], entrance examinations conducted by the University
Certificates Verification: The certificates of the candidates under special categories (PH, CAP, NCC & SPORTS) shall be verified by the authorities concerned.
