Engineering Entrance Exams in India: One of the most popular career options in India is engineering. Students can either do Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE). The difference between both courses is minor. BE is more of a theory-based course, whereas, B.Tech has a more practical approach.
The biggest entrance exam for Under Graduate engineering admission is JEE Main. The exam is held twice by NTA in January and April. The score of JEE Main is accepted by NITs, CFTIs, IIITs, and various colleges throughout the nation. However, premier engineering institutes, i.e. Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), hold its entrance exam called as JEE Advanced.
JEE Advanced is also held at a national level but only top 2.5 qualifying candidates of JEE Main can participate in the exam. Hence, students need to qualify JEE Main to be eligible for JEE Advanced.
Other than JEE, there are various states which hold State Level Entrance exams 2025 for admission of the students in the engineering colleges of that particular state.
The exam is held at Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, AP, TS are called as UPSEE, KEAM, KCET, WBJEE, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, respectively. Some states, such as Bihar carry the admission process based on JEE Main.

Fashion and Design Entrance Exams in India: There is no national level entrance exam conducted for the fashion stream. Various institutes like NIFT NID, Pearl Academy, etc., hold entrance exams for admission.
