TG Gurukulam CETs 2025 Latest Updates (All TS Residential CETs Info) – In Telangana State, the School Education Department releases a different type of entrance test notifications every year for admission into 5th Class to 10th Class, Inter first year and Degree first-year admissions in Telangana State Gurukulams.

Each society would conduct its own entrance test to fill up the fresh and vacant seats in TS Residential Schools, Junior Colleges, and Degree Colleges.

TG Gurukulam CETs (TS Residential CETs): RS CETs, RJC CETs and RDC CETs are to be conducted by the Societies in every year to fill up the seats in Telangana Gurukulams.

TSMSCET is to be conducted for TS Model Schools. But, in Telangana, Only one TGCET is to be conducted for admission into 5th class in Gurukul Vidyalayas of TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, TGBCWREIS Societies in the name of TG Gurukul 5th Class Entrance Test.

There are over a hundred Gurukuls in the state under the SC, ST, BC, and Minority Welfare Departments. Of these, the state government provides free education from class five to degree.

TS COE Gurukulams (TS Special Gurukul Schools)

A special ation plan has been designed to ensure that studying in SC and ST TS COE Gurukulams in the state get maximum seats in IIT, Medicine and other prestigious institutes.

As a part of this, foundation courses will be provided to the students from the 8th class in 54 Centers of Excellence (COE) under the respective Gurukuls. This new system will be fully implemented from the academic year 2025-25.

Also, the SC and ST Gurukula Societies have decided to set up full-fledged computer labs in the gurukulams and make a computer available to every student for at least two hours.

TS COE Gurukulam Colleges

Successful in pilot system, the demand for seats in TS COE Gurukulam Colleges is high. Here students are given special training to get engineering and medical seats along with studies after joining intermediate.

Foundation Course in TS COE Gurukum Schools

But due to increasing pressure on students, they are unable to get seats. To overcome this situation, the SC and ST societies have prepared a plan to provide training with foundation courses from eighth standard in some TS COE Gurukum Schools as a pilot project in the academic year 2023-24.

With the success of this program, it was decided to implement it fully. There are 8 premier COEs and 32 non-premier COEs under SC Gurukula Society. Also 14 centers are working under ST society.

Students who get admission in these COE gurukulams will be taught foundation courses on the best online platform along with daily lessons from the 8th Class.

A separate login ID will be provided in the name of each student. So they can study online anytime. Gurukula societies have entered into an agreement with a corporate body to provide free online content worth Rs.20 crore for two years.

However, the society is providing necessary computers in every school as laptops and tablets are not available especially for the students. Many corporate organizations have come forward to give computers under corporate social responsibility .

Gurukul Admissions

Opened to the admissions of the Gurukuls. The process of admissions for the new academic year has been started in schools and colleges under Gurukul Societies.

With the late start of the current academic year in the wake of Covid-19, Gurukul societies are taking care not to affect the coming academic year as the working days also go ahead till the end of May.

Planning in advance. Societies feel that it is not possible to conduct entrance examinations during the summer holidays. In this context, applications for the entrance examinations for the coming academic year have been accepted.

TG Gurukul CET is a Joint examination for the fifth class admission: There are five Gurukul societies in the state. There are 70,000 seats in the fifth class in schools under SC, ST, BC, Minority and General Gurukul Societies.

Of these, joint entrance examinations are being conducted for admissions of societies other than the Society of Minority Welfare Gurukuls.

Seats are filled on the basis of marks by filtering the ‘Society-wise list selected by the students’. A notification in this regard will be issued within a week.

In addition, BV CET notifications will be issued by society for filling backlog vacancies in classes six, seven, eight and nine. On the other hand, TSWREIS has already issued a RJC CET notification regarding fast year admissions in General and vocational Intermediate Colleges and admissions in the Center of Excellence Colleges (COEs).

A Degree Entrance Test notification has been Issued for Admissions in Undergraduate Courses. All of them will conduct the qualifying examinations in April. ST and BC Gurukul societies are also likely to issue notifications during the week respectively.

Admission completed by the end of May: Authorities have set a target of completing the process of Gurukul admissions by the end of May.

All the entrance exams will be held in April and the results will be announced on the second week of May. The admission process will be completed within a week to ten days if the admission counseling process starts immediately after the announcement of results.

If there are still seats left, students in the next row will be given a chance based on the merit list. This may take another week.

Officials say there will be no rush at the beginning of the academic year if the admissions process is completed by the end of May as a whole. The academic year begins on June 14.

KG to PG Free Education

How many colleges are under which society? There are 30 SC colleges in the state under SC Gurukul Society, 22 colleges under ST Society and one degree college under BC Society.

The proposal to increase the number of colleges under the BC Society was never implemented. It has been three years since degree colleges were started under the auspices of SC and ST Gurukul Societies.

Special degree courses are offered in some gurukuls. The idea was to add these to the level of PG, professional‌ colleges.

There are plans to set up specialized colleges for engineering, nursing, PG, law, MBA, MCA and other courses. As part of this, five courses were introduced in the current academic year and 260 seats were made available.

Ibrahimpatnam Gurukul College under the auspices of SC Gurukul Society, OU has sanctioned MA English, M.Sc Chemistry in Budwell, Statistics, M.Sc Biotechnology in Mahindra Hills and M.Com in Sangareddy. Classes began in LB nagar after the law course was approved by the Bar Council.

PG courses for Tribals in ST Gurukul: The ST Gurukul Society has already proposed to start five courses within the three colleges.

Final approval is yet to come. Approval of the Bar Council is required for the commencement of a law course. PG courses in Gurukul will be available to the Tribals if the society gets permission. Thought to start more courses but could not due to corona.

COE Admission or Pratibha Colleges Admission

Admissions are being given in COE colleges run under the auspices of the Institute of Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Gurukuls Schools in the state. Eligible SC, ST, BC, Minority students should apply online mode only.

There are 33 talent colleges under the Social Welfare Department and 17 under the Tribal Welfare Department across the state.

These colleges offer specialized training in IIT, NEET, JEE, AMSET, CA, CPT, CLAT and state level competitive examinations in addition to Inter.

Must be studying tenth class in the current academic year. The annual income of the parents of the students should be less than Rs.2 lakhs in urban areas and less than Rs.1.50 lakhs in rural areas are eligible to apply for this COE Entrance Test.

Telangana Welfare Societies CETs

TREIS, TS Residential Society would conduct the TS Residential CETs i.e., TSRS CET, TSRJC CET, TSRDC CET exams for TS Residential Institutions.

TSWREIS Society would conduct the TS SC Gurukul CETs i.e., TSWRS CET (TSWRS BLV CET), TSWRJC CET (TG Gurukul RJC CET), TSWREIS COE Entrance Test, TSWREIS RDC CET Exams for TSW Residential Institutions.

TTWREIS, TS Tribal Welfare Society would conduct the TS ST Gurukul CETs i.e., TTWRS CET (TTWRS BLV CET), TTWRJC CET (TG Gurukul RJC CET), TTSWREIS OCE Entrance Test, TTWREIS RDC CET Exams for TTRW Residential Institutions.

MJPTBCWREIS, MJP BC Welfare Society would conduct the TG BC Gurukul CETs i.e., TGBCWREIS RS CET (TGBCWRS CET), TGBCWREIS RJC CET (TGBCWRJC CET), TGBCWREIS RDC CET exams for TGBCW Residential Institutions.

TMREIS, Telangana Model Schools would conduct the TS Minority Gurukul CET i.e., TMRS CET, TMREIS CET Exams for TMR Residential Institutions. TS RMSA would conduct the TSMSCET Exams, TSMS Inter Admissions for TS Model Schools.

Telangana Gurukul schools

Govt has introduced Intermediate education in all Telangana Gurukul schools from 2025. Till now, the Gurukul schools were extending education till tenth standard.

The officials will set up 15 more Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Gurukul Women’s Degree Colleges from the current academic year.

By the next academic year, the number of these colleges should be increased to 17 ensuring there are BC Gurukul Degree Colleges in each district.

Apart from traditional courses, degree courses should be designed that aid in providing employment opportunities in tune with the current requirement. One Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Gurukula Vidyalaya should be established in each district.
